Why hello there, where have you been all my life?

Stay Off the Lawn!! | Back in 2010 when the Hong Kong collection came out, I was super late to the take and did not get my hands on Jade is the New Black. I've been kicking myself ever since (yes 6 years later I'm still lemming), but I think OPI heard my prayers and gifted me this lovely jade green creme. *heart eye emoji*

Never a Dulles Moment | Tbh I have no idea what half of the names in this collection are references to... Anyway, you all know I'm not a huge yellow fan, but this one is really creamy and opaque so if I were to like a yellow, this would be it. It's shiny and has a buttery look to it, rather than straight up school bus yellow.

Yank My Doodle | Love this one! It's described as a tawny copper and that's basically what it is. The pictures show it to be more of a vibrant orange, but it's actually more muted in real life. Reminds me of the leaves in the fall here.

Squeaker of the House | I am so happy with this shade!! This colour has been my newfound obsession particularly with liquid lipsticks, so I couldn't wait to get it on my fingers as well. A perfect milk chocolatey brown taupe.

Madam President | Wow this one is bright. I had my neon phase back in high school and ever since then have been more into the neutrals, but this one is just gorgeous. I cannot resist a hot reddish pink fuchsia. They got me.

We the Female | Another winner! I love this deep wine/garnet colour, it is definitely going to be worn a lot in the fall. It does stain though, as do all the red shades. I hope one day they come up with a base coat that shields against all stains.

Suzi - The First Lady of Nails | I kinda like this army green trend that's going on lately. It's cool and grungy. This one reminds me of Olive for Green from the Spring Infinite Shine collection. It's a bit more muted and grey-based though.

Pale to the Chief | Just like Jade is the New Black, I didn't get my hands on My Vampire is Buff and I regret it to this day. I'm not sure if they're exactly dupes, but close enough! I love how this nude is on the peachy-isn beige side so it actually works well with my skin tone. There's a hint of shimmer in this one too, which makes it less chalky than My Vampire is Buff.

Freedom of Peach | This one is a creamy pumpkin shade. I'm iffy about it, not my favourite. It is a great fall shade though.

Shh... It's Top Secret! | YES this collection just keeps getting better. I love a good vampy shade for fall and this is perfect. It's not too black and it's not too purple. It's almost mushroom-y if you get what I mean.

OPI By Popular Vote | This one was a slightly redundant shade of the bunch, but pretty nonetheless. It is not as neon as Madam President, and it is not as red or dark as We the Female. It's just in between, a more muted raspberry.

CIA = Color is Awesome | Be still my heart - a teal blue creme. I haven't seen one of these in a long time. I love love LOVE this one.

Kerry Blosson (limited edition) | This is a plum purple, but what's nice about it is that it isn't too dark, and isn't a dull raspberry either. I like these red-based purples. It was a bit on the thinner side so another coat would have helped.

"Liv" in the Gray (limited edition) | They call this a dark grey, but I would say it's more of a steel slate blue grey than straight grey. I like it, but the blue-ness is throwing me off a tad. It's an interesting shade!

Inside the ISABELLEtway (limited edition) | This is a caramel butterscotch kind of shade and it's sooo pretty! I never thought I would enjoy these warm browns. In fact, I always thought the browns looked like poop before and could never understand why people would want that on their nails. Well, I was wrong.

Suffice it to say, OPI really won me over with this collection. I was so excited about each and every one when swatching. It beats the Venice collection by ten thousand-fold. WASHINGTON DC IS PERFECTION (even though I don't get the names and don't get why Kerry Washington was their Creative Ambassador). I can't wait to wear them all throughout the fall. These retail for $12.50CAD and are available in salons and spas now. You definitely need to get your hands on these! I guarantee there will be some blogger favourites from this collection.
