How kawaii are these clay dessert charms? I don't usually bling out my nails with 3D things, but these ones from the Born Pretty Store were too cute to pass up. This set comes with a variety of clay charms ranging from strawberries to bows to tiny 3D cake slices. I decided to go for a candyland-esque design. Katy Perry would definitely be proud.

I started off with a light pink creme base on all nails. On the ring accent finger I applied the charms and nudged them around until they fit. It does help having larger and flatter nail beds for these kinds of charms. I then used some striping tape to create the candy cane striping on the rest of the nails. I skipped top coat on the ring finger but applied a coat of Seche to the rest of the nails.

This was also my first time trying out Misslyn polishes for nail art. Suffice it to say, I am pleasantly surprised with the formulation and can appreciate why they are such a hit in the UK. They have a thicker consistency comparable to the Sally Hansen Xtreme Wears -- a longtime favourite brand of mine.

You can create your own delicious nail art with these charms at the Born Pretty Store. As always, be sure to use the code BAOQ10 to receive 10% off your entire order! Happy bling-ing!
