Bright sunshine, blue skies and mirrored sunglasses are all I'm living for this summer. What's nice about these sunnies is that they amp up the cool factor to any outfit instantly. You just get this boost of confidence behind the tinted lenses knowing that everyone on the outside doesn't know where you're actually looking. I know, that sounds slightly creepy, but hey it's true!

For this outfit post I hopped on that flared denim bandwagon and brought back the good 'ol flares. For a 5'1" midget, I was apprehensive about flares because I love how they look on blessed tall girls but wasn't sure how the trend would fare for shorties like myself. Surprisingly, the flares actually elongate and create a really nice slimming effect down the legs. Just make sure to go with a smaller boot opening when wearing lower shoes, saving the super wide flares for tall wedges or sandals.

I've always been iffy about the bohemian look, but subtly edging my way into the trend is working out pretty well if I do say so myself. This is my attempt at bohemian chic and I'm loving it so far. How invigorating it is to try new things!
