It's already the end of May and that means summer is fast approaching! I decided to do something bright and tropical today with these awesome turquoise stone nails. I used the water splatter technique with black and gold polish on a bright turquoise base. Check out this video for an excellent tutorial on how to achieve the look. Water marbling and splattering is always a tricky technique and requires many attempts to get the right patterns. From my experience, room temperature (in fact slightly cold rather than warm) bottled water works best in a well-ventilated cool area. I've tried this technique in a warm room and the polish would not separate when the alcohol was sprayed.

Happy Wednesday!
