Perspective

But this is my perspective and I want to make it known.

International Women's Day was this past Sunday so here's a quick shoutout to all the boss women of the world. As my girl Beyoncé once said: who run the world? Girls.

Finding good locations to shoot is always a challenge and is made even more of a tedious task in  these bleak winter conditions. Eastern Canada has been hit especially hard this year. There has yet to be a day where I am not bundled up like the michelin man to make my trek to school. For reasons aforementioned, it has been extremely difficult to wear anything other than sweatpants and mismatched layers upon mismatched layers for fear of risking hypothermia.

I apologize for the long hiatus (also due to an increased workload as the term wraps up), but the weather is finally starting to look a little more like spring, so fingers crossed that it lasts for a while longer.

For today's shoot, we explored the campus of what is known as Canada's most innovative university. Truthfully, we only have a few nice, new buildings with the rest looking like the walls of abandoned penitentiaries... but that said, the nice buildings are very nice and have a cool modernistic feel to them.

This overpass is notorious to Waterloo students for being the quintessential "professional headshot for my LinkedIn profile" location. I don't have a LinkedIn profile, but this is my perspective and I hope you enjoy seeing a snapshot of me in my second home.
