NOPI | Do Good... Feel Good, Something About Spring
OPI | You Pink Too Much
Hey guys! Today I have a review of the Born Pretty Store's chevron nail art stickers. I always see nail artists and bloggers incorporate cute chevron patterns into their nail art manicures so effortlessly. To be honest, when I first received these, I did not know what I wanted to do with them. First time I tried them out, the nail polishes that I used were not cooperating and began to lift up when I peeled the sticker away. Second time around, I came up with this pretty design for Valentine's day.
I started with a base of Nicole by OPI Do Good... Feel Good and applied a coat of Seche Vite to speed up the drying time. Once that was completely dry (and I repeat, completely dry!!) I cut the chevron nail stickers in half and applied one strip to each of my nails. I have small nail beds and wanted to economize on my stickers, but if your nails are larger than mine you may have to use one full strip each. I then painted over with a coat of Nicole by OPI Something About Spring. After about 30 seconds I lifted the tape up to reveal a perfect chevron pattern. On my ring finger, I drew a large heart with a dotting tool in the same dark pink shade. Finally, I took the glitter from OPI's You Pink Too Much and outlined the heart using a toothpick.
So there you have it! A simple beating heart manicure for Valentine's Day. Check out the chevron nail stickers here and use the coupon code BAOQ10 to receive 10% off your entire order.
