Today I have another review for the Born Pretty Store to share with you guys! This time, I decided to try some of their nail art tools instead of stickers or decals. A lot of you may know that I typically don't use brushes for my nail art, but stick to my trusty dotting tools and toothpicks. That's mostly because I've always thought that they were a lot harder to manoeuvre and created uneven lines. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I received these in the mail! Keep reading to see why!

I decided to put these brushes to the test by choosing a challenging design that I've been too scared to try. This print was inspired by the intricate designs of baroque wallpaper. I started off with a base of white and then using the second last brush in the first photo (the tall skinny one) I slowly worked my way through the design. At first, it was confusing trying to choose where to start, but after a while it became pretty easy.

I found the brush very precise and easy to use, which was perfect for a more complicated design like this one. The handle is made of metallic pink plastic and felt sturdy and substantial in the hand. I like how the tip was flexible enough to create curved lines, but not so flimsy that it would flop over. I did have a little issue with dragging, but I think that was because of the polish that I chose. I'll be doing a review on the Sally Hansen Color Foil polish soon!

I've also tried the brown angled brush that comes in the kit for cleanup, but found it to be a little too soft still to get everything around my cuticles. I've always had problems with cleanup so if you guys have any tips then please share in the comments below!

Suffice it to say, this brush kit from the Born Pretty Store are a great addition to your arsenal of nail art supplies. Even after using a couple, I think that these will help me to increase the precision in my designs.

You can find these on the Born Pretty Store here for $7.19USD. Be sure to use the coupon code BAOQ10 for 10% off your entire purchase! Link is in the sidebar.
