OOTD: Leopard & Saffiano (Michael Kors Sutton Satchel Review)

Bag: Michael Kors Sutton Satchel | Top: H&M | Blazer: H&M | Pants: Forever 21 | Heels: Coach

I've made it a mission to explore my city this summer before I go back to school. One of the newest attractions to visit in Calgary is the Peace Bridge, which was built just last year. I hadn't visited it when it first opened to the public, so here I am now for some OOTD photography!

I got these leopard print joggers at the Yonge St. Forever 21 in Toronto before my flight home. I fell in love with them instantly and although they may seem a bit out there for some, I think they make a good statement piece when paired with the right things (no leopard on leopard here girlfriend!)

I paired these pants with a basic sleeveless crop top and boyfriend blazer. Boyfriend blazers are a staple in any girl's closet.. more on that in an upcoming post. To dress it down, you could wear a relaxed tee and sneaker wedges or a cropped sweater and booties for the fall.

Now, onto my favourite part - my new Michael Kors Sutton Satchel! I've been looking for a great 'investment' black bag to replace the one I always wear from Urban Outfitters. This one was a little on the pricier side for me as I don't typically splurge on bags, but I know I will get full value out of this one.

It's a very structured, rectangular tote with double handles and a removable crossbody strap. Made of black Saffiano leather, it's not as easy to scratch or become dull like soft leather does. The metal details are in gold. Finally, there are two large zippers along the top of the bag and a magnetic clasp enclosure to make sure your belongings don't fall out.

This bag is definitely a good dupe for the Prada Saffiano Lux Tote for a fraction of the price. Of course, I would love to have the Prada but on my student budget, Michael Kors is a great alternative!

It was between this one and the popular Selma satchel in the same Saffiano leather. I ultimately chose this one because I really like the square-ish shape of it rather than the trapeze style. Plus, since I like wearing my bags on my shoulder sometimes, I found this one looked better with the long strap versus the Selma because it wasn't as bulky.

I've worn this bag a number of times already and think it's so versatile with both casual and dressy attire.

As always, thanks for reading and see you next time!
